Changing the name details on an ebay account - what happens?

I've read a few threads saying not allowed and not possible.

I've done it before and ran accounts for sometime.

Just wanted to know what the risks are. What will be flagged up?
Is it a bad idea to do?

Did you use the same name and address on a few ebay accounts? Was it in the run up for managed payments?

I guess the risks are if you are using banned details and someones(ebays) eyes see it and link that you might get banned again? I'm assuming.

Just one selling account.
And another for buying - just used 2 or 3 times to buy.
The selling account, I desperately want to keep if I can.

I dont see any risk, I changed the name on many ebay accounts for managed payment number of times and not a single issue

Is this for personal accounts or only business

first of all I think it's silly to wanna change any info on PP.

second , it's wiser to just use the info to make a NEW account... oh look... now you have 2.

checked my account and cant be changed, I have to contact ebay rep :mad:

Off course changed myself, once you fill the MP form you can enter everything new and this copy to your account settings page

I went to personal info and was not possible to change , I was informed days ago that MP is coming by the end of the may.

I`ll check again when MP will began
