What about the bank account?. I thought that as the owner of Paypal, eBay used to have any info of your PayPal. (At least until 2018 when they parted ways)

Are you sure?, maybe not now that both are different companies but I know by an eBay rep that eBay can dig into your PayPal account anyhow. I don't know if everything or partial data.
But when they were the same company I don't know why eBay could not have any info of the PayPal linked like the bank account ...

yes,Ebay can look into your Paypal account if the issue has t o do with Paypal payment.

But they are not Sherlock Holmes,there is no reason to look at your bank account or cards,linked to Paypal.
Thats Paypal's problem.
