Opening foreign account, switch to US Market?
 

I have seen people mention a workaround to avoid MP is to open an account in another market and then switch your shipping address to a US address. From what I've heard, you will still only be bound to the rules/regs of the market you opened the account in, ie. using PayPal instead of being required to use MP.

Any truth to this and is it still working?

If so, can someone give me a rundown on the steps required to do this? Either by reply or DM? It sounds like some other markets are faring far better than we are, so far. :coffee:

I've already asked others. People who are successful at this are keeping to themselves and I don't blame them. You can just try it yourself through trial and error.

Ok, guys. I'll figure it out if I can and let you know. I doubt it'll work forever but it seems like a temporary workaround. Maybe. :ranger:

I am curious if I am in the USA and opened an account in a European-or-other country, should I open a PayPal account in that same country or in the USA?
