does you bank acct have to match your real name usa mp registration?

I m waiting for the same answer to be answered. As far as I read on this forum there are different opinions, some say yes, some say no. I guess it depends which bank you will use.

From what I understand in America the problem is not bank matching name , it's eventually going to be SSN matching DOB, and name. In america they can't see the name attached to a personal bank account. From what I gather European countries are having this problem with bank and name because they can.

I can be mistaken someone correct me. As for me I had no problem with mismatch name in America.

So in US and UK names on stealth account and bank account don t need to match, but in European countries they need to match. We change the name, but leave stealth address and DOB. Am I right?

Does private account need to provide bank statement when enrolling in MP?

This is correct. You can be creative with a statement if they ask for it. or just get the 2 deposits, but sometimes they don't ask for either

Won't they ask for a real SSN verification as well if that came up. I've yet to be asked it so I don't know process but I have like 4 stealths approaching 5k as you said, and I worry that's when they will and I'll have to shut down the accounts. I'm personally not risking linking my ssn and info, because my one MP account of 7 years is too precious to risk getting connected.

For verifying the bank account, they now have multiple options. You can log into your bank account directly, verify trial deposits or upload a statement.

Hello everybody.

If I understand right what you are wrote here.

For a PM bank account verification.

How it´s work?

1. Ebay send to your account micro payments for example with some CODE or etc or amount like 0,02 € and the will be ebay ask you for confirming CODE or amount what ebay send to your account?

2. Or is it so complicated and ebay asking you for, that YOU need send payment to ebay account for verification.

Because in first option = ebay no have chance see your real name on bank account or bank transaction.

and in second option = ebay can see it, because you are sending from your bank account and ebay can see who send money to ebay bank account.

So can somebody say = how this PM registration working? Thank you.:help:

For eu bank accs under 1000€ they dont check names you can use what ever you want i use my Buisness name on an privat bank acc above 1000€ they check iban and name and not sure what happens if you write Pete Klark instant Peter Clark

But are you talking of payouts of +1000€ at once or accumulated amounts (400 each week for instance)

Hello. How ebay can check your name in bank account? IBAN is no problem, but I want keep my stealth info ( like name and address etc....)

Yes, I´m registered on ebay.com as Slovakia country, Slovakia stealth name and Slovakia stealth address. I have a Slovakia real bank in my paypal ( And paypal no see my real name, that´s why everything working well. But now in this manage payments = It´s new for me and I no have idea how this registration work. And What I can do or not.)



So. But this is the same question what I want ask = we are finding resolve for a stealth names or real names. But what payoneer option? If ebay talking, that payoneer will be a new way for a payment option = I´m believe, that payoneer will be really simillar like paypal and that´s mean, that we are can keep our stealth names and everything.

My question is, if you are find something posts or mesagess about it in forum? I no have a lot of time in every day for writting here and searching. But I have a time until to 20.may.2021 for confirming my names and addresses in my eBay Stealth accounts. And I no have idea what I have do. Keep or change? It will be possible change in future with manage payments registration? Thank you for your opinion and ideas or all what you know. :help:

Hope someone can help

So I went to add a card to the business account . The eBay business account add and the bank card add are different,
After trying to add it (which shows the wrong add on same page) it says unable to use this card and to add another?
I’m confused as people said it wouldn’t matter.
It asked for the long number exp NOT the account number and sc.
Do I change the eBay add to same as bank which is my add but mine was suspended so when I put it in it will surely link and so it again!

I’ve changed the address on my eBay account as it was also suspended but I only changed it ever so slightly so I put a next to my number example 1a or no1a and my debit card worked to buy cheap items and items were still delivered to my address and bank account also worked deposits received and entered into eBay just waiting for eBay to take them out now hopefully Monday they will take them out I used my real name and date of birth
