Will PayPal still be an option with ebay's new MB?

When they started talking about the transition since 2019 they said that paypal can still be used.

But nowadays from what I understood I see that paypal will be no longer offered in ebay

can you correct me if I am mistaken?

They didn't lie - PayPal is still available for MPs... but only from buyer's side.

If youre a buyer you can now use paypal or any number of new payment methods - so the buying experience is greatly improved.
On the seller side once you sign up for MP you get to accept all the payment methods - and theyre all processed through MP by ebay. Unfortunately this means having to go through the process of enrolling in MP - which is a rather complicated one.

Have you personally used MP? in PayPal age, payments are held until item arrives or buyer leave feedback. is it the same in MP? are funds also go pending balance?
