MP to reloadable cards?

Are there any reloadable credit cards that I can withdraw MP to? If it helps, it's not stealth, I can confirm info with my SS#, etc, it's just st*th as in I am keeping it separate with my (non SS# connected) years old suspended account from my previous address.

Because of divorce stuff, I'd like to not use a bank account if possible, so if there are any other options, I'm interested to know them.

Thanks!

Prepaid debit cards, but they are just crappy bank accounts.

Both Paypal and Wmt offer a prepaid debit card ,there is a monthly fee involved, you need your SSN and residual address to make it official, then you can link to your PAYPAL account and move money back and forth.
You can also deposit more money into that card, like govt checks,it is manned by Bankcorp Bank, you may even have your own bank accoun number with them and FDIC insured.
Now my infor is a few years old, have not been updated.
Go to Paypal and find out more,I think it is Paypal prepaid MC card, fee is 4.95 a month.
Once again, check it out yourself .
WMT also have a similar deal,for 3.95 a month

there were talks at one time, you will get a bank account number from Bankcorp bank,so u can use it with MP,but not sure if it has done so.
WMT also have a similar card, check it out and could be linked to your Paypal account,I have never tried it or know anyone who has,it is $1 cheaper per month

No, but you can use services like wise.com for that

Like yankee said, all those reloadable cards at walmart just give you a regular bank account. If a divorce makes it inconvenient for you to open regular bank accounts then using reloadable cards wouldn't be any different.

Re: MP to reloadable cards?

The Paypal debit card is manned by Bankcorp bank and your fund is kept in one bank account along with other debit card holders, there is no way to find out how much you have in that account unless you tell them.
Bankcorp bank may give you a subaccount number, but I doubt any outsider can trace it.
One way they will find out if you link it to your Paypal account and start moving money back and forth, these days IRS and State sales auditor know PAYPAL and can ask for your Paypal account activities

Re: MP to reloadable cards?

with Paypal, you can ask them to send you a bank check ,and it is possible to go to that bank and cash it instead of depositing into your bank account, with proper ID.
I have never done it,but used to have a hair dresser who does that,he will take my check(WFC) and go cash it at its branch.
If he has an account with WFC,it helps.
With MP,it does not send out checks!and you cant ask it to hold on to your fund .

Re: MP to reloadable cards?

BTW,it is not that easy to find out how many bank accounts you have, even IRS cannot do that unless it wants to do an ENDLESS search across all banks and there must be thousands of banks in US.
One way for them to find out is to study your bank statements and find out you are transferring money to or from another bank account .
(when a person died without a will, and the family wants to know if he has any bank accounts not disclosed, there is a service which will find out and it will cost $$.at one time,my brother in law past away and my sister decides it is not worth the effort to spend money on finding out)
