Receive payment on revolut vcc?
 

Hey guys, has anyone tried to connect a revolut VCC as payout method on eBay MP?
Does that work? Or is there no way around providing a IBAN..

Only bank accounts accepted as what I know.

Im using my normal Revolut bank account, my IBAN, and didn’t got rejected.

One thing I don't understand is, even if mismatch names work with VBA's like Revolut or Wise, this companies only offer 1 single IBAN. How to have multiple accounts if you can't get different IBAN's?

Still you have more than one iban with revolut. For UK you have different Iban than eu iban but don’t know for how long.

As I can only get a very limited number of IBAN's I am thinking of adding a different IBAN for each of my most important accounts. On the other ones I am thinking of deleting all listings and just do nothing (in case I need them in the future). Will this accounts be suspended if I don't join MP? They were all invited and I have only till day 18 of this month to add a bank account.

Just open real bank accounts. I don't know your country, but in the EU is not so difficult to have as many as you wish (Iban + debit card). Most of the digital banks close your account at some point.

EBay doesn’t check the names.
But make sure you have a bit of balance on the revolut account

On which eBay site your account has been registered ? Mismatched names on eBay and Revolut account ?

Im sure eBay will be checking name on eb to match bank account. Otherwise why wouldn’t they just put everybody on managed payments directly without all these procedures. I’ve been reading thru many posts on this forum and conclusion is that all stealth accounts will be down sooner or later. The only viable options are to use your real details or make business eb.
People here with established accounts have been put down once their eBay data is discovered as @@@@. So it doesn’t matter how long history selling they have or what revenue they bring to eb. What matter is to be a real person or business so that you can pay your taxes.

I also believe this will be the normal. I guess this is really the end of the road. I have a strategy that I hope it works and that will keep me "alive" selling and paying my bills as ebay is my only way of income.
I will change the information on my most important account to my real information. After that if everything went smooth, I will start creating more ebay accounts with the same real info (ebay allows anyone to have more than 1 account if you follow some rules like not selling the same type of items on them). Then I will slowly switching my entire business to my real info. Unfortunately I will abandon some of my business as although items are 100% legit they are branded and kind of risky. The only downside of this strategy is that I will have to be 10x more cautious on the health of all the accounts, as if 1 goes down, probably all my business goes down.

I don't understand how can we (legit selllers) be the reason ebay makes money, but we are always afraid that ebay itself kicks us out. I am having really bad sleeping nights as I wonder if this is the correct strategy to do. :(

Yes I put mismatch bank account and I verified with bank doc. Now I wait for account to be activated in mp. After I complete registration I made only 1 sale in a week. Payment received in PayPal and is in pending balance. Strange is that money are in pending…didn’t happened for long time. I wait to see what happened next.

So you can't be sure that eBay checks names on bank accounts as you stated previously. Hopefully everything will be fine with your account at the end.

Do you sell risk items ?

Sorry but I have 4 accounts with missmatching bank account names and they all went through....

it is highly unlikely people get suspended because of bank accounts. ebay verify the bank account but suspend if the identity is not real. in large countries they verify it through databases , in small countries like Bulgaria they probably can't use databases so be prepared for random suspensions , for example if they don't like the items you sell

There is only the option to add as Paym method an iban format at the moment

Will it be possible to buy on ebay with paypal? I got blocked ebay account. My paypal is registered with same email as blocked ebay.

If I change my IP, and open new ebay account, then keep buying with old paypal?
Or I need to make close paypal and open new one with new bank, credit card, address?

Perhaps ebay will force buying without paypal too? Then screw them.

Paypal just posted what data they have about me, you can request this in their control panel.

First Name, Last Name, Mobile Phone in ebay too, Primary E-mail, all Credit Cards ever used on ebay too, bank acc tied to paypal, Address entered in paypal or ebay or ebay shipping address ever used, Nationality,

Date Of Birth shows nothing strange empty. I will ask to provide all ID's scanned and sent to them. Lets see what they say.

Strange that they did not provide specific ID information sent to them years ago, no personal ID either.

Yes revolut can be use for MP. Also you can change there a currency to GBP for example so they provide you GB sort code and account number.

Correct me if I'm wrong, what I understood is someone received money in PP (which went on pending balance) from sales completed on ebay MP. How is that possible ?
