MP we couldn't verify it's you
 
Stealh acct, real bank. Added bank acct, address ,DOB. Now I receive email from eb that they couldn't verify that it's me and couldn't verify my bank info. Asked for id and to correct the bank details if something is not correct. How should I proceed? Does somebody who has enrolled in mp from another country know? Bulgarian acct.

Try another bank ? You know some banks of ours like DSK live in the old age .. Try something like Reiffeisen or FiBank for example.

If you received message minutes after you signed up could be an automated message. They ask you to verify with micro deposits or bank extras ?

First You need to upload ID.
Second you will need choose verify bank acc with microdeposit. Check your bank statement on the next day.
The amounts will be in bulgarian currency, don't forget to convert it in euro when you apply it.

Update: verified bank with micro deposit, had name mismatch with no issue, probably all bg banks will work

didi33, receiving micro deposits doesnt mean that you will receive money with mismatch name. Let me know if I am wrong.

Didi, which ebay website did you use during registration (ebay.com, or ebay.de)?

Another major question - is it possible to add a Bulgarian bank account, but in different currency (e.g. USD or EUR), in order to avoid the new "Seller currency conversion charge" (which is a staggering 3% - https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fe...=5224#section2). Actually, even if you are able to add such bank account, is eBay going to assign the correct currency for the payments, so you can avoid things getting even worse, by not only getting a conversion and a 3% fee, but another conversion from your bank afterwards?

Before your first sale. check your eBay messages you can request microdeposits from there.

I just list my first item after i was accepted with mismatch names. I see there are new option for accepting payments with debit/credit card. This wasn't available before for me. We will see very soon. I think it depends on the bank. If you can windrow funds from PayPal with card and mismatched names i this it is possible for bank accounts too.

The situation with the fees is really unpleasant! I think its possible to add BG bank account in USD or EU, but about the new fees ... I think its best to call eBay and ask them directly. And it's even better to test this, because we all know how eBay support say something and in reality it's not true. The other part of this is the bank itself. You probably need to contact them too. I am registered on US platform, but i am not sure does this meter, because wen you sell on DE funds are released in EU currency at PayPal and in USD if you sold item was on .com. If you can find a way to escape from the fees please share this with us, but from my experience with BIG COMPANIES the rules are not made to benefit small users and sellers. Yes, I think when eBay makes microdeposits, because you can receive deposit with mismatched name, but when the deposit is sent back to them, it is sent from your real name so they check this.. Crap any other way to go around this?

Yes, after i enrolled for MP and filled those 3 steps, where you need to correct account owner, add bank IBAN and confirm it. I have done it, after some minutes 2 messages came saying that they couldnt verify the details i have given and I have now options to upload bank statement and photo ID, is it ok to send creative docs?

If I understand correctly you have both options on your account, microdeposits and bank statement.

If I were you, I will upload bank statement and ID. This way you can avoid potential mismatched names issue. Didn't tested it yet.

Account created on which eBay site and what is the nationality you used for ?

I have already sent edited bank statement with mismatched name and creative passport. It says that within 2days they will contact me if everything is ok.

If it is a Lithuanian passport, I think you have a chance to pass. eBay.co.uk account ?

Was this a brand new account or an old account?

If you list a product for sale immediately after registering a new account, the account is toast.

Please confirm if the account was old or new.

I think this suspension did not come because of microdeposits but it is connected to the country of registration. all accounts in high risk countries are likely to go under manual review on MP

the reason is that with MP ebay and adyen do not just take responsibility for possible credit card losses but also for compliance so that some types of items that used to be acceptable under paypal will not be acceptable under the new system , this especially applies to copyrighted items

I think you could be right about type of items but the country for didi is Bulgaria and I don’t think Bulgaria is high risk.
There are not many Bulgarian sellers and majority sell medicine. This type of items are high risk.
Didi what type of items are you selling?

Sofar I didnt see any microdeposits. Where did you see it? Which country is it?

The microdeposits burned the accout when they were returned to ebay. Either upload statement or match the name to the one in the bank. So far the latter is the one that worked.

You've changed the name to a real person, address, DOB and real docs or creative ones ?
