MP Payouts and Microdeposits currency
 

Hi,
First of all hello everyone and thanks for helping so much on the forum.
I am located in Portugal and I have a registered store on ebaydotcom, that is, it is in usd.
When making the transition to the MP, I had the following question:
What currency are micro-deposits for account validation made in? In Usd or Eur which is the country of my bank account?
And then the payouts will be made in which currency?
This for me is important because I have to choose a bank account that accepts transfers in usd or euros (for example Wise).
I hope it's a pertinent question.

It goes by your Ebay account,if it is Portugal,it expects a Portuguese bank!
someone may come along and shed more information

Before, I didn't have this problem because I converted to Paypal and sent in euros.
On Etsy for example this does not happen because I open the account in euros (country of residence) and choose the Bank's Country.
Now the accounts that are already open is the problem because I can't change to euros and I have to choose a bank that accepts usd transfers.
My question is whether Ebay would convert or not based on the bank's country...
If I make the microdeposit in euros I have to choose an account that accepts euros, if they do it in usd I have to choose an account that accepts usd.
If it's on Wise, they're different accounts...

Hi there,

I think for whole Europe ebay will send the money in Euro not in USD.
Anyway you can easily contact customer support and ask them about it.

No it wont, unless youre confused between Europe and EU

Yes, Its my mistake. UK will accept the payments in pounds.
