if I sign up to manage payments as a new account
 

I dont have a banned account in my real name
I kind of just want to start fresh.

if I sign up to eBay as a new seller, in all my real info
is it pretty safe?

the reason I ask is because there was a time where it felt like 80% of stealth accounts created were suspended after first listing.

to avoid this maybe it'd be best to buy one created professionally on aspkin?


does eBay new acc mp still get treated the same with banning after first listing? or are you able to just confirm its you and go on your way
anyone just starting fresh and it worked?
anyone see any possible problems I would be up against?

Your best bet is to just create your own account using your real information. New accounts now have MP as it's only option. PayPal is no longer an option for sellers.
Since MP will perform an identity check, you'll most likely start with high selling limits since they'll know who you are as you are using real information. Be sure to use a solid IP (residential or mobile), real phone number (no VoiP) and you will be fine. Since your account will be trusted, you will not be banned after your first listing.
That said, don't go crazy, list a few items first, nothing risky, and continue to baby the account for the first 90 days (just like if you were starting with stealth).

What if I have account with my real name, all info, but also want to start fresh?
Is it possible? Would be accounts linked? What might happen?

Should be fine to create your acct.
Even when they were suspending accts after the first listing (and for all I know they still do) it was due to poor management of the acct - not creating enough history, listing a high risk item etc. In such cases it was usually quite simple to contact ebay and get the acct reinstated.
Just start slow and you should be fine.
