"Payoneer has verified your information" - Stealth account. Now What?
 

Hi guys,

So I have been able to verify few of my accounts and got this E.mail:

"You’re all set!


Hi X,

Payoneer has been able to verify your account and your registration information for eBay to manage your payments is under review. We’ll notify you once your registration information has been reviewed by eBay and before activating your account on managed payments. Nothing will change in how you sell on eBay until then.


Now my question is, does it means I am all set? Or could be a surprise? What does this sentence means : "and your registration information for eBay to manage your payments is under review."

I am still getting paid via PayPal by the way,

Hopefully someone can clarify if those are good news or I shouldn't be happy yet.

Payoneer has "verified" you but eBay has not yet verified you on their end, I'm assuming. There could definitely be a surprise in store if eBay can't verify your info. I would sell gently on those accounts until you're fully accepted into MP.

that means that you have been verified with payoneer and have yet to be verified by ebay. Most likely the doc checks were outsourced to payoneer and ebay will be looking at other parts of your business like what you are selling

my theory is that payoneer do not carry any risks on ebay since they do not process any customer payments. so ebay will be assessing risks for all payoneer customers separately
