Multiple $1,000,000 selling limit account asked MP, best way? Friend or Mines?
 

eBay bans: Multiple eBay accounts banned 10+ years ago, mostly stealth but I am not 100% sure. I think maybe one or two used my real name, I am almost positive some has my real address (also current address). Nothing bad bans, just tried to get past selling limits by making random accounts and using same info (I was stupid at the time) and accounts banned for suspicion.

I am moving in 6 months, so that's why I want to wait to use real info. In 6 months, I'll have new computer (buy new computer every year), new address, new IP, and can use new number. I have common name, which I'm sure 10k+ ebay user's share name so I don't think they can link me.

Stealth: Past 6 years years I've been using my borther-in-law's info. Added him as authorized user on my credit card and put card on ebay/paypal, my own bank and opened po box, but submitted his ID, SSN to PayPal and no issues.

My Bank (bank of America) said I can open a joint account with his info, and Ebay managed payment said joint account is fine as long as account holder's name is on the bank.

I still have his ID and SSN card picture and he says I can use it, but problem now is ID is expired and he's in Canada last two years. So, is Ebay will just verify the SSN is real and the name on eBay matches SSN and the name on bank account matches? Then I should be OK. But if Ebay will look at public records address and see he is was in another state (never in my state) or see he is in Canada now, then that is a problem or if they ask for ID then problem.

I have had ebay accounts suspended with my real info and then switched other stealth accounts to MP using the same real info no problem. The suspended accounts was years ago. I have also converted some to MP leaving stealth address. You don't have to complicate things, the bank account name does not have to match. I also use bank of america I just enter bank info manually for MP when setting up. Keep in mind next year with the new tax law (threshold at $600) if you use someone elses SSN a 1099K will be sent to IRS and make things a bit more complicated.

so you signed up for MP using real info (name and address) but kept the registered address as stealth?

He said he has been using his brother in law SSN with Paypal,so if there were any 1099K in the past,his brother in law is aware of it and dealt with it

I think the difference is before 2022 the treshold was $20,000 and 200 transactions and is now changing to $600. I have never gotten a 1099K but I am sure I will in 2022

Does ebay really send 1099 I doubt it
