MP and non paying buyers
 

Since I switched most of my accounts to MP I have had an increase in non paying bidders and I do not see the NP option anymore to let ebay know this person didn't pay. Is that now gone and a buyer can just do this without receiving a non payment strike?

Sellers don't need to open unpaid item cases any longer. Instead, orders can be canceled if a buyer hasn't paid within 4 calendar days. If you still have open unpaid item cases, you have 36 days from the date they were opened to close them. If you don't close them within 36 days, we'll close them for you, but you won't be eligible for a final value fee credit and the unpaid item won't be recorded on the buyer's account.


You can automate how you manage unpaid items by enabling Preferences for items awaiting payment on your account.

I didn't know unpaid item cases were gone. I'll have to check my account settings. :(

Thanks for the info. Ebay is kind of sneaky I would have been charged the fees because I could not figure out how to do it. Is the buyer given a strike for non payment? It looks to me that there is nothing against buyers that do this. I have had buyers not pay in about half of my listings since MP. I guess I will have to stop auctions which I hate to do because they usually end selling for more than my buy it now on an auction but this is getting ridiculous.
