What happens with insufficient funds in bank account when ebay withdraws under MP?

Under managed payments, if ebay attempts withdraw for losing a case, or fees at the end of the month, and there are insufficient funds, do they automatically remove the bank account? Do they give another due date? or halt your ability to list until you pay?

If this happens, I dont want to go through the headache of setting up another bank

They already take fees in advance.
I've never been there, but I don't suppose they'd remove the bank account. It's so resource-intensive to have thousands of removal and re-additions every month.

It'd be easier to try to collect the funds at a later date or eventually take it from your incoming funds - unless you've been suspended and cases keep coming in.
In that case, I'll expect your credit file to get dinged after a while if you don't remit to eBay. They'd possibly follow the same process as they did before MP.

in this case your payouts will be put on hold until you pay the debt

Not familiar with US accounts. But this happened with a BG/EU account :

1) Email received that the amount will be deducted from the bank account. The bank doesn't support direct debit (better ask your bank for this).

2) Email received that the bank deduction failed and they will take the fees from future payouts.

does your bank charge a NSF fee when MP tries to debit your bank account?

I think that differs from bank to bank.

Thanks. In a kinda, sorta, roundabout way this might be better cause if you win an appeal, they would just have to not take the money, rather than with waiting for a refund from ebay through paypal.

It was always a NIGHTMARE to get funds from FeeBay (for whatever reason) even though they always managed to grab it in 2 seconds if you owe. It always took MULTIPLE phone calls, asking for different departments, being given the runaround, told excuses and lies, then the money might show up in 3 or 4 weeks ..
