Payoneer wants to turn on my camera and take photo
 

Stealth Hong Kong payoneer. Registered with Guru, so withdraw is made with card. Bank account not linked with payoneer. Verified docs. Review went good. Asked for questionnaire which is under review (they look at them after a few transactions). Payoneer fully verified (confirmed it via live chat). Registered on ebay after a few days. Same address, same name, linked a card from Marocco on ebay. Went trough. Had message on ebay that when my payoneer is verified I will sell. Contacted ebay and they told me this is standard procedure and it takes 1-2 days to go trough.
This morning I woke up to payoneer wanting me to turn on my camera and take photo with i d. They say this is linked to ebay verification. Anyone had this?

tl;dr Stealth Hong Kong, verified payoneer, asked to turn on my camera and take photo with document as part of ebay verification.

probably suspicious registration details. I have been running payoneer stealth for years and have not had such an issue

and just recently I verified 7 russian stealth payoneer for ebay and it went through without issues but all details were completely local

I wonder how did you manage to get Payoneer MP with RU accs? My RU accs didn't get any MP invites as for now.

you need to open accounts where you have access to banks

HK is a poor choice , it is almost China and has a strict system

if you want to run HK you should be able to use completely local details incl. bank account and in general I recommend to use a local bank account with any payoneer as lack of such an account may indeed indicate that there is no access to local banks

were you actively selling there? I know many actively selling accounts got invitations and some already got deadlines for removal of all listings

all details must match , it is always better not to use an existing payoneer but open a new one through ebay and all details should be local

if you use any foreign details be prepared for additional verification or suspension in the worst case

payoneer has a system that sees foreign affiliation , for example if you use their withdrawal card they will flag you if withdrawals are made in a different country

only local banks , in general you should only use payoneer if at least one bank account is local , even if you want to use the card (in russia it is not available) you should still have a local bank account on file

local ID , local utility bill or bank statement , local bank , local phone , selfie must be doable and card (where available) should be used in the country of registration

this is the way to go to reduce risks of more verification , suspension etc.

But how do you use it? To local bank, or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ local added, and real eu one?

with russian payoneer you won't be able to withdraw to foreign banks , they send all funds the same day and do not hold any money

with other payoneer you could try a non-existent local bank and make withdrawals to EU but there is no guarantee payoneer would not ask to verify the local account so it is a risk and I know they do micro deposits at least in some countries and some cases

So the UK phone number cound be the culprint.
Hong Kong is a good location for the type of goods I sell. Trying to find more countries with payoneer tho. The local bank account is a BIG issue.
Have you used one time phone numbers for Payoneer? Could this work out?

you need a an actual physical sim for payoneer that you can use on a regular basis as they force people to receive SMS and you may get locked out

bank is important as well , HK banks are a major issue , not only do they have just 2-3 banks where it is possible to open accounts but they also reject many people

Well in the case of Russia, could an EMI Russian bank be used for withdrawn from the Payoneer account? And can such EMI bank be opened with a foreign passport instead of Russian?

Did someone need to turn on their camera and take a photo of themself as a part of the payoneer verification for ebay, or is it just me and I f-ed up big time???

china has strict rules , you should avoid opening stealth there

This is strange because paypal for these accounts works perfect. So did you stumble on such requirement in payoneer? I've heard about selfie, but not from the device's camera.

No issues selling to the UK ebay using Russian details? I have 2 of 4 MP account left and need to find a solution
