Can I update more than one Stealth to real info?

I just updated an otherwise useless stealth account to my real info, and it verified and the banner went away... everything is good.

I also have another long-history-with-perfect-record account that I hate to waste, I realize updating that to real info would merge the two (in a way) but at least that would give me the use of both accounts.

I never have any issues, selling, Vero, chargebacks, I only use stealth accounts for privacy (from buyers, since it's a small circle of people in the niche I buy/sell in). Would updating that second account to my real info so I can use it cause any issues with my first account or either of them, as far as having 2 accounts updated with my info?

If anyone thinks that is a bad idea, let me know; I'd rather have one good account for sure rather than two good accounts with a maybe hovering over my head....thanks!

I'd start with one account first.

2nd account you can turn it into a business ACC with EIN

The answer is you can have 5 accounts with identical information. What happens if one gets banned? Nobody knows yet.

You can use the same bank on five accounts. Same name, tax number, address, bank accounts, phone number but I believe you need different emails.

You need to use your full SSN on all accounts. As stated earlier in this thread, you can have up to 5 real Ebay accounts.

Okay for smLLC entities do you reccomend a certain state or can it be any state that has cheapest annual fee and such.

What happens after 5? Does it tell you you've capped out your max # of accounts @ 5? Error message? Etc

I have like 10 business accounts, zero personal accounts... I've only put in last 4 of SSN and have never given them a full social.

Do you also have 10 different LLC accounts or did you link some LLC to multiple eBay accounts?

Well not this year because after 600 dollar threshold ebay wants full SSN to generate the 1099 with it.

Nonsense. The 1099s go to the person the EIN is registered to.

NO THEY DO NOT.

For single member LLC's which are passthrough entities the 1099 is processed through the SSN. It's why everyone on here has to provide their real SSN in stakeholder info. If you provide someone elses SSN and your real EIN someone will be getting a 1099 sent to the IRS under their info.

EVERYONE ON HERE doesn't have to provide the full SSN. Myself and multiple others have only uploaded the last 4. How the hell they gonna send a 1099 to an SSN they don't have? (maybe they'll ask for it later, no clue)

And if you go dig up eBays most recent statement on this issue, PRIVATE sellers will need to provide SSN, while BUSINESS sellers need to provide EIN.

Let's me be clear. In 2022 which only happened 20 days ago the new threshold for a 1099 dropped from 20k to all the way down to 600 dollars. I know about people only updating last 4, I've had that for years now but when all of us with sm LLC's or individual accounts start to reach 600 or 2k whatever is close to 600, ebay will send you an email now requesting full ssn. Reason is because all third party processors have to generate 1099 at 600 threshold. Sure you could not update with real ssn but you'll lose your abiilty to continue selling.

And no. business's for smLLC's at least do not just provide EIN, there must be a real SSN that the 1099k will be submitted with.

If your talking about another entity other than smLLC's Idk please provide details.

If what you're saying is right, then everything they have released in the last couple weeks REGARDING 2022 is wrong.
