LLC in another state
 

I live in NY but the fees to file an LLC are high.
Can I rent a forwarding mailbox say in Michigan and get an LLC in that sate where the fees are much less. also would I need to file a multi memeber LLC or some other type of corporation to avoid giving my name and SS to ebay

Use Nevada or Wyoming. Forget Michigan unless you have a physical business there. Never open a company in a state that taxes you....or that you could get a double tax.

Really is no way of not using a real name and SS number for the owners contact info even on a corporation.

Do I file a multimember LLC? I want to add another persons name besides my own just for ebay purposes. because I already have a sinlge member LLC under my real name and when I added my name and last 4 as the owner the entire ebay account started showing as under my name.
So I already have one ebay account under my real name and dont want any links.

Any answers? I am having the same question......... I already have one ebay in my name with attach single-member LLC. How can I spread my sales across at lest 2 other ebays without getting linked through same name....
please help..........
