Can ebay "Steal" the money?

I just wonder is there any possibility that ebay wont ever send a funds?

I saw multiple Bans and in most of them there are announcement that saying account funds wont be realeased until account ban are lifted.

But in reality i expierienced for MC011 that they been sent during the MC011 Restriction.

Soo once again is there any possibility that ebay WONT EVER send a fund for EU user?(In most country in here its illegal them even to hold for a day without our premission)

If there is possibility that they wont ever send it what happend If i delete account.

If your account is fully verified then payout comes in 30-72 days. If they can’t verify something then you have to go much longer without funds to where people just rather not go through the work to get it

It's been more than a year as eBay holds my money. They blocked it after I linked a bank account issued by payoneer for payouts. eBay requires me to follow escheitment process to get the funds. So, basically they can steal...

no they cannot, there's always a work around, just contact all your buyers ask them if a refund can be sent and have them pay you through CashApp or something similar, always works for me, I'm not letting them keep my money for 60 days

I'm going to stick my neck out and say that's not a good idea nor does it 'always work' as you claim. :pound:

So what happens if/when your monies are released?

Do you fancy sharing the second payment template you send to your buyers?

Re: Can ebay "Steal" the money?

Some people here are providing misleading and incorrect advice about payments being eventually released.

THIS IS NOT HOW EBAY OR AMAZON OR MOST COMPANIES OPERATE ANYMORE!

Despite there being laws, legalities, and their own platform policies stating funds will eventually be released no matter what, or that funds will be sent off to your local government through an escheatment process, this is mostly false advice now days.

Platform like eBay and Amazon are trained to outright lie to you, break laws, and their own policies. How do I know this? from several years of experience/experiments.

Unless you file a complaint through your local financial complaints agency/department/bureau/ombudsman and go through the legal ways to document, dispute, and raise a valid claim through a 3rd party then in 80-90% of cases you will not see your funds released for failure to ID (but you generally will for account closures due to breaking seller policies).

This is because they consider you a fraudulent seller and will not release your funds until you validate and prove your ID to their satisfaction in most cases, because they know that in 99% of cases you will not take it further since your a BS seller or under a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ alias.

My advice, play the game smarter, don't keep your eggs in one basket, and try to be ahead of them every step of the way.

It's been like this, particularly on Amazon, for quite some time now. IMO they have never sent the monies to the authorities, they sit on it on the assumption you'll one day make a valid representation that your entitled to it, and I don't believe they're parting with it now regardless of what is legally expected of them.

Always withdraw available funds, see any rolling reserve as an occupational hazard.

If anyone wonder i recived money after 71 days from the suspension , not a single email or contact to support regarding this case was made. (MC999)

The country i am from any service that provide "Withdraws" they are obliagted to do that in 5 working days to make appear money on your account.

Re: Can ebay "Steal" the money?

eBay cannot keep your money, I believe that they hope that the stealth accounts will not chase a repayment. I have it in writing this week from them that after the account is suspended they will release the money 60 to 72 days afterwards.

They prefer you to go into arbitration as the terms and conditions stated but if the amount is such that you can go to the small claims court, or if you threaten that action they will release the money.

The only company I have heard who will keep your money is Amazon if you are selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods, as compensation for their reputation being threatened by the sellers actions and to fund any future legal claims levied against them.
