cant add bank to ebay acc
 

Tried to add a bank to an eBay account, right after receiving the standard "Action required: update your bank information". Bank added, message "Thank you, we are verifying your information" received, all cool. However, after that, when the usual microdeposit verification form should appear, just the same form appears, that is for entering the bank account number, and no any signs of microdeposit initiation form. What could be the issue?

If there is a problem, they either just do not allow the bank to be added, or require microdeposits. It is not possible that they allow to add a bank but then it gets stuck at the form to add it. Bank is from EU.

sometimes there is nothing wrong with what you enter,but the bank site may be down ?
is it a small bank?

Sounds like a glitch on eBay side.

Yes, will try. I see this for fist time ever. Ususally they deny bank, add bank without deps or allow bank but require deps. But they never asked for a bank and then asked again and again, while it seems to be added.

I used to add EU bank accounts on their ".com" site and i was surprised that most of the time they did not ask any confirmations at all - just enter the IBAN with details and thanks, thats all and it just works without any confirmations and payout arrives. Only one time got request to confirm with deposits.

However on UK site they always asked deposits before first payout.
But these days they work interesting anyway - i usually use .com and a week ago add iban on one of 5 accounts and yesterday it was suspended. The rest 4 accounts without any ibans are still working (they all with active listings).

maybe you try to use bank account from virtual bank? sometimes this is the issue

Was never an issue for me. They just say they do not support that bank (like Citibank etc.), and that's all. But when they accept it, but then behave like no bank was added - that is something new.

So, finally, I've re-added the same bank account, and the button to send the microdeposits appeared. eBay is so eGay.

How are you able to add the EU bank account from the.com site? I tried too but it redirect to the es site where i am registered

Yes, if you've initially signed up at some local site, they will redirect you there when you are changing your payments settings. Also, what kind of bank you are allowed to add, depends on your country of registration, not on your ebay site.

Some bank different from the country of registration are still able to add but not all, they block some bank and others not

Never had any issues adding a bank from another country except banks that are just banned.

sometimes it is just a glitch ,more so on your bank site,it could be down.

ebay wants the payout bank account and ebay account should have same name but my ebay account is stealth so what should i do
btw my account is us account.

They dont need to actually to match so its not an issue
