paying eBay charges
 
hi, please advise.. should I add credit card to my eBay selling acc to pay eBay uk charges? I guess its not safe if eBay is going to try charging my bank saving account on different name.. if so what credit cards I should use? thank u

I'm pretty sure they just take their fees from the items you sell .

They do, its automatically deducted while the payment processes.

you could use a card for quick refunds , sometimes it is needed , for example closing disputes quickly to avoid consequences

The cards you already have - are they linked to a banned address?

It will eventually ask all of us to add a credit card,chargebacks can come in 180 days

forcing people to keep a card on file to cover chargebacks is pointless as such a card could be cancelled anytime

A responsible merchant will handle a chargeback as part of doing business,not the sales venue .
Chargeback comes from the buyer cc issuer,not the sales venue/
We as buyers and sellers would end up paying for it .
Both Etsy and Ebay charge my cc when there is a return and there is not enough money in my account to refund.
