problem in getting money after the sale
 

Hello everyone, I have a problem with an account that is 8 months old. I listed items that were not risky, and when an item was sold for $22, eBay told me in an email that the funds would be hold for 15 days, but when I went to eBay, I found that the funds were hold for 40 days. There is an explanation for this? Has happened to a person like this? Here are two screenshots of the email and eBay

july 8 is an estimate,you can call Ebay after 15 days.

You should wait a reasonable amount of time to call, 15 to 20 days.
Sometimes it is good to review:
if you sent the product on time
if it has already been delivered

could be that the source of buyer payment was deemed as risky as well - international source, etc

Have you added tracking? If so you can ring them a few days after delivery and they will usually release the funds.

Yep it does, you have to wait 40 days unfortunately

There is no update in policys but i had one account also where now is 40 days instead of 30

Go to Ebay seller forum and see if there is more information.

Here is answer from ebay rep:

I understand that you want to know why the hold period has been extended from 30 days to 40 days. In some instances, the holds may be extended with several risk reviews conducted in the background. We do this to ensure the transaction goes smoothly and to rule out any potential post-transact claims.
Yes, the hold period should have been 30 days but after the tracking number was added the system calculated the new estimated delivery date (EDD) and it is longer now. Hence, the fund release date got extended to EDD+15 days. Which is why the release date is shown as 10th July 2024. EDD is 25th June 2024.
However, if the delivery is confirmed (DC) early based on tracking number then you will have your funds after DC +7 days. Also, if you receive positive feedback then the system releases the funds early. You don't have to wait for 30 or 40 days.
