eBay holds funds after item delivery
Hi everyone I sold 3 items on eBay and put the tracking numbers and it showed later that all the items were delivered. Two items had a release date of 8 days after delivery which is good but one item had a release date of almost a month even though the item was delivered. I wonder where the error is. Is this due to eBay updating their system every few days or is this unchanged and I will receive my money after a month? |

| i saw new ebay guidelines: personal sellers will get paid 2 days after they can confirm delivery (with tracking) or 14 days without tracking |

Additionally, eBay may place a transaction hold on funds depending on your seller status or the category you're selling in:
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while eBay confirms that their items have been successfully delivered. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. In limited circumstances, new sellers may experience holds for up to 21 days.
Previously restricted or suspended sellers will experience transaction holds for the 30 days after the restriction or suspension is lifted, while eBay confirms that the items have been successfully delivered.
High priced items or unusual selling patterns may lead to transaction holds for up to 30 days to help us ensure that buyers don't have any issues with the order.
The authentication process may lead to transaction holds for up to 30 days until the authenticity of items sold with eBay's Authenticity Guarantee can be confirmed.

maged, you could also have a long hold on that particular sale because the buyer may have used a form of payment like echeck or something else...taking longer to clear for eb |

I am seeing that ebay is automatically adding an "AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE" to any branded items with a price point of over $200 now!! Is there any way around this??? Unreal! Quote:
