ebay+revolut question
 

Hi I attached my revolut iban to ebay account because from previous bank ebay was not able to withdraw that microdeposit (€0.01) which they deposited to verify bank account so they asked me to add another bank.

My question is will they automatically withdraw this microdeposit from revolut? Because ebay and revolut did not ask me to setup any direct debit mandate and I do not see any planned future payment in revolut app.

It is already 2 days since I added this revolut iban and there is not any change. Thanks!

Did you mean £0.01 instead of euro?
What country is your eBay account in?

Revolut recently discontinued direct debits for(non-UK resident)GBP accounts.

No they deposited €0.01

The issue you're facing is letting you know your bank account does not support direct debits, which is odd for an EUR Revolut, as they usually do...

Try Wise instead.

I would suggest Chase Bank or Wise, but always use a domestic bank account for a domestic eBay account (e.g. if your eBay acc is UK, use a UK bank acc)

Right on - as a side note, in the earlier days of PP, it was nice having workarounds to use foreign banks in PP for withdrawal but it was not easy to setup...but doable :focus:

That's right, which is why I was confused OP decided to attempt to link his bank account via foreign bank data (iban etc.)

It was a EURO Revolut account. OP has made no mention of what country Ebay it was added to.

I see. I've personally never used an IBAN when setting up a DD whether it be a German eBay acc or French that being said, which was why I was slightly confused..
