Just curious, have anyone noticed if it's true that there are less Chinese accounts, or Chinese sellers using USA accounts? Finally more opportunities for us now?

There's a lot less of them but the ones who stuck around are smart. They'll have a $3 listing and for the shipping service it'll say "Fedex Express." Then they ship the item ePacket from China knowing that most people aren't going to fuss about such a cheap item.

But yeah.. they've thinned out the crowd for sure.

Yeah, but the ones that are left - I always be sure to bomb them with negative feedback if they lie about saying their item ships from the US - I hate liars...

I mean, money talks. People have to eat. As long as there is an avenue available for them to send small orders direct to the US.. there will be hungry Chinese people willing to take advantage of it.

There's a reason "rich asians" is a stereotype.

It could be the Ebay fees and credit card fees plus shipping are just too high to make it worthwhile.

Nah.. it's the evolving landscape. Back in the day I was running a dozen accounts. That's not possible anymore.

The chinese sellers still have a huge advantage in terms of shipping cost though. Pennies on the dollar compared to what American sellers have to pay to ship within their own country.

THey are getting tariffed and passing the cost to us though.
In fact everything is getting more expensive because of the F'ing tariff.

I think it's got more to do with the $4/gallon gas. None of my suppliers prices have gone up.. postage has. When I look at invoices from the past year, my supplier has been consistently dropping unit prices, struggling to keep items profitable enough to be worth buying in bulk.

How are you people even bringing in inventory? Y'all sound like a bunch of politicians.
