funds not released on release day
 

all my funds that was on hold was supposed to be released yesterday July 17th on ebay and its still hasn't been released as of yet and funds are still on hold
has anybody experienced this issue before ??

Probably just need to wait a bit - either glitch or few days not taken into account, for example holidays, weekends, etc

Yes - this isn't a rare issue.

It can happen if the zip code the package is delivered to ends up not matching the zip code on the order (happens frequently with orders going to forwarders in Florida since Miami has several zip codes). Also can happen if the package doesn't get a delivery scan. I have a payment being held right now for an order delivered two weeks ago that the buyer already left feedback for.. but it was never scanned as delivered.

If you go to that page you can filter it to payments you have on hold, and get further details from there.

Do you know how they make payments?
bank fund,credit card,debit card?
if it were a foreign credit card or credit card issued by some obscure org eg credit union ,or foreign bank ,or bank which is not a member of Fed Reserve.
If there is insufficient fund,EBay may try again.

It doesn't tell us how the buyer paid in MP. Just whether or not the payment is being held by eBay. :/

all funds from sales being held on ebay MP ,release date switch from July 17 to August 18

they said it was a glitch in there system and just wait

This happens sometimes. Apparently, it's part of their anti-fraud system. It's hard to understand how everything works there now. AI is a very interesting thing. After implementing it, everything goes wrong.

Sounds like a delivery zip mismatch to me.


When a shipment gets scanned as delivered but in a different zip code than the buyer gave.. it puts the payment on hold for an extra month in case the buyer complains.

It can happen if its not released on fhe release day just call ebay and tell them they will release it for you as long as the date is passed
