eBay sent emails to users on Thursday promoting a 2-day "sales event" for Cole Haan items from eBay seller ideeli. The email was part of a campaign for eBay's new "Fashion Deals" feature, somewhat similar to its Daily Deals. Just how did ideeli - a brand new seller with 22 feedback - get such great placement on eBay?
eBay's increasingly looking to put the fun back into shopping on its site, but in a way that would be unrecognizable to shoppers who hadn't visited the site in the last several years.
