This will never happen. It is not the advertising lobby that will kill it. It is the federal government.

The US Constitution guarantees citizen's right to privacy from the government. But NOT from private companies like ChoicePoint.

So the government uses services like ChoicePoint to get your information. And there is NO WAY that they will allow anything that would put a stop to it.
