ebay sales move too much stuff for this to ever even get to the thought process.
However the way ebay decided to do stuff, you never know. They seem to like to do things that end up hurting them down the line. lol | Hmm I can see the possibility... They just open a ton of big-box warehouse stores all across the country to hold the eBay sellers' merchandise and for extra profit they implement POS (point of sale? ) systems directly integrated into Paypal's database. The chain of stores would be called "Pay-Mart" and on top of buying the stuff online they'll actually let customers just walk right into the store and buy things on-site.
"Welcome to Paymart! Did you find everything you needed okay?"
"Yeah I've been looking for this rare DVD set forever and I finally see it here but it says it's being stocked for an eBay seller. Do I have to just go find his listing on eBay, or...?"
"That won't be necessary, sir. You can buy it right here!"
"But the eBay seller..?"
"Oh that's no problem we'll just ban their account for some made-up reason and take all the rest of their stuff. We do it all the time! :D"
