Holy cow... ebay is getting sued up the wazoo. Including the DOJ is going after them in AntiTrust case. They are sleazier than I imagined.

Guess now we know why the fees are so high - to pay all their legal fees.:ballchain:

This is a house of cards that is going to implode sooner or later.

Big companies are always being sued left and right.

Yeah, but this is taking it to a whole nother level. I mean now I understand why eb had to sneak in that user agreement clause last year that says members cannot bring class-action suits and can now only submit to binding arbitration instead.

Plus, if I am not mistaken the EU is going after them for tax evasion for setting up shell companies in Luxembourg.

Lets see..... San Fran is suing them for illegal hiring practices, and there is the collusion case with intuit ... The doj is juiced for that... And let's not forget the antitrust suit to break up ebays strangle hold on payment systems ie PayPal and bml.

That's just for starters... There are dozens of pending class action cases from former members.


Yeah, I'd say that song and dance at the last shareholder meeting about best qtr ever was a smokescreen for the upcoming massacre. I would be cutting back holdings in this puppy if I were an investor.
