aspkin | 07-10-2008 05:32 PM | I'm not, I don't think I've ever given eBay my real information. But then again it changes often. |
greg2414 | 07-10-2008 05:34 PM | i have about 5 acc's on life bans, all linked, vero the lot. |
thelizardking | 07-10-2008 08:12 PM | I have 2 accounts Banned for Life + 2 that were linked to them, the first one was my first ever account made in 99 and was banned in 05 with over 10,000 transactions mostly from 03-05...I was heartbroken when they banned me...I try every once in a while to see if I can get it lifted but it seems its gone forever |
jerkyboy1 | 07-13-2008 11:31 PM | I have several. two with over 1500 feedback; try to get them back in august. |

Unfortunately grossed 2 Neg Feedbacks in a month, linked my brother's account to mine and POOF Im Gone... | My main account had over 45,000 feedback. Don't see myself ever getting to that point again. |
brandon1984 | 11-17-2008 01:26 AM | i was suspended with no chance of reinstation, on a 4 year old ebay account :( |
kolomty | 11-18-2008 04:34 PM | Have a few.:D |
Hottest_eBay_Goddess | 11-18-2008 10:20 PM | Count me in. My first 3 years on eBay I was using my real info. I had some tricks that made them work fine, but then I decided I didn't want to pay fees anymore so I started the new way! lol
I've been banned probably about 200+ times. I didn't rip anyone off though, was just in a controversial market with a lot of competition.

because i went 10 days to my country (Colombia) and log in to my account from there,

Stealth account is the correct alternatives | If you logged in from a different country, all they ask you to do is to verify your information. I believe they suspend you as a safety precaution and they want you to verify that you're the owner. If you haven't you still have a chance.:fight: |
I appealed several "life" bans in an attempt to try to get these "life bans" lifted.
The only reason that I want to appeal a "life" ban is that if I do get reinstated I can post it here. (Following my post about having ebay refund several of my buyers, but not taking the money from me)
The following arguaments I have used to date to appeal the "life bans" are:
1) Please sir, I didnt mean it. You see I have a split personality and the one that got the ban was my other half who has now been expunged from my system due to a good medication regime. So the fault was not me, but my other me, oh you get what I mean.
Attempt One failed
2) I only have 4 months to live and my goal is to have my ebay account reinstated so I can part this world having resolved the issues with ebay. I need to die with a clear conscience.
Attempt two failed
3) Both my cat and dog died in the same week and my ebay business suffered. My dog ate the cat while I was out and died from a gastro related infection. The cat died due to being ingested by the dog.
Attempt 3 failed
I sent these emails to ebay customer support appealing life bans. I had a few drinks and was chortling and chuckling while I wrote the emails.
I am currently devising new and exciting explanations to appeal and beat "life bans".
As soon as I have acheived this goal I will post the results.
I figure all I have to do is flick a switch inside a sympathetic and emphatic reps head to get the "life ban" switch in my account flicked and a full reinstatement. |
oompaloompa | 04-10-2010 02:17 PM | there is no such thing as ebay lifers...you can (after a few years perhaps) register with almost the same info and buy and sell, small tiny tweak on address maybe, but real name etc and new bank/phone/cards etc...if you mean get your old account back, who cares, Ive had an account reinstated without asking and Ive not bothered to use it or log in ....
Neo- emphathic rep? they only employ sadistic booty-scratchers....why dont you try saying you swallowed a dog that swallowed a cat that swallowed a mouse that swallowed a spider that swallowed a fly - and its wriggling in side ya?
I know - set up an account in the name Golum Smeigal, and refer to yourself in the plural in response to emails | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:51 PM. | |
