Using US Ebay overseas

Would it be possible to use a USA Ebay account in New Zealand? I have a PayPal account for my NZ, so I could link it to the Ebay.

I don't want to grow my account from scratch as it has a $500 limit on it and I want to start selling $300~$400 items daily.
