Israel PayPal has no currency convert function
 

Basically, I have an Israel PayPal account and I am selling items in UK and USA, the big problem is that you can only link Israel bank and US Bank into Israel PayPal account and you are not able to convert GBP to USD with the account, I have added a BOA (bank of America) into it but how can you possibly withdraw the GBP to BOA? I have contacted custom service but I was told that I can only purchase items with the GBP, any one has any experiences about this? thanks

well that's right israeli pp doesn't have any balance conversation option since around 8-9 months. even for Israel banks you can't withdraw your balance as GBP. they converting to ILS.
if you already added BOA account, you can't use that acc for any other account anymore, so you can try to withdraw a small amount and see what will happen.
if you think a similar new account, you need to close gbp balance, just keep balance in usd and paypal will convert your gbp payments to usd instantly.

Why not just have a UK paypal account? wouldnt it make things simpler for you instead of using an Israeli one?
Just curious.
Also, Pleure's advice sounds like a solid one.

Thank you so much for the tips, so if I close the GBP in my PayPal account, I am still able to receive the amount of GBP converted into USD, right? I just want to make sure that the UK customers can still pay me even if I closed the GBP, regards!

It is a stealth account bought from a seller here, the reason I do not use a UK account is because UK PayPal figured a way to verify the ID document, I got many UK PayPal accounts limited recently because of that (in UK we have to provided documents to remove 2500 EUR receiving limits).

yes system working like that. just you may need to login your pp at your first payment and confirm instant currency conversation

i had the same problem with a refund i got in AUD to my israel PP. customer service told me to change my main currency to AUD and then make make the withdrawal to US bank [CAPITAL ONE 360], and then i can switch back my main currency to USD.
i did that and it worked perfectly. [i withdrew the entire ammount in AUD to US account, and it appeared in my bank in the converted USD currency].
