Keep losing PayPal accounts

Hi guys. I’m new to this so apologies if this has been asked. I couldn’t see anything on here recently. Please be gentle.

I have lost 3 PayPal accounts in a row! I start out nice and gently, selling small odds and sods around the house. Money in and into the bank fine. Then after apprpx 2 months I get the “please send docs, proof business etc” I’ve only sold 15/20 small items, biggest amount received for one item is £140 but this was a one off! Where am I going wrong? I’m baffled now! Any support would be so much appreciated as need to get back on. Thanks.

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

try to receive the same amount roughly each time, without stark variations.

do not withdraw too frequently to banks, and not your entire balance.

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

It is better to start with low value items. After that you can slowly increase sales amounts. As Purpl said don't rush withdraws and don't withdraw all the money. Leave some money in PP.

£140 is too much for new PP, imo.

Did you sold used or new items ?

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

Smalls odds and sods to 140 gbp in only 15-20 transactions is seen as high risk.

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

There are something that links your accounts.
140 GBP is nothing to be considered as high risk.

You should easily receive even 500 GBP on a brand new PP without any problems.
About withdraw that's true, don't do that instantly after you got funds.

What was the last thing you did before you received limit notification? What is the exact last thing you did with these accounts?

How many items are you selling per week? And £140 is high for a brand new account.

It also depends on the items sold..

PayPal does not like sporadic sales.. they like things being consistent (price of item sold included)

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

Hi all,

Just had the 4th account go down. Sold 7 items new and used. dearest one £19.01 cheapest £0.99. I change my IP address before logging on(switch modem off wait ten minutes and then switch back on) use new account on laptop. New phone number, new address, Entropay VCC. Im at the point where I want to buy an account but something is clearly going wrong and I don’t want to lose anymore. Every since January I’ve found it so hard to keep an account. Tonight’s account went down after 7 payments. Once the items ended I invoiced everyone who had not paid then bang, logged into PayPal to find the message. Can anyone tell me why I’m going wrong. Thanks all

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

Could entropay be cause causing the issues?

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

I think it’s most likely entropay causing issues it’s no longer safe to use, what ip provider are you using? £140 you should never sell something this high value on a new account, PM me and I’m happy to go into depth on how rectify the issues your having.

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

If PP asking for Invoices and so - mean you selling too much or expensive item triggered
They want to make sure you hold the items.
If they close your account without giving a chance to upload docs - its something wrong with your Stealth

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

Most expensive item I sold recently was £19.01. Brand new phone case. I’m thinking that I’m being to previous via entropay. Going to buy a visa gift card and try again I think.

Have you read the stealth guide? Theres loads of ways you may be linking accounts inadvertently.

Its true entropay may be a factor in your issues.

Getting ready to set the next one up. My ip is EE. I’m going to try with VCC instead of entropay. Am I best resetting my IP address by switching internet off for 10 mins and restarting? Also can I get VCC online instead of oay8ng £25 a pop ie MasterCard/visa? Thanks

If that works go for it; otherwise VPN is the way to go

Paypal is a patience game.
And it's becoming harder and harder to work with that. But still you will find solutions.

Patience is difficult for those who get suspended all of a sudden and had only one account. That's where multiple accounts, and spreading sales comes into play. ;)

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

it's better to have multiple accounts and to seperate your items on them in smaller amounts , in few months you'll have higher limits , multiple trusted accounts and better selling chances .

Re: Keep losing PayPal accounts

Phone cases can be a bit risky, Ive gotten banned starting out of the gate selling them. Entropay I think maybe a problem use a VCC or Visa giftcard. Third are you actually tracking in a spreadsheet if you are getting the same IP address and getting linked to the accounts via IP? Im thinking thats what happening. I have a mobile wifi device and in the past I would continually get the same Ip address and would reset it multiple times before getting different IPs. When they switched over to IP6 address I never run into the problem, but I track it just incase.
