My listing insertion fees were 0... now not anymore
 

I have 3 Italian non business eBay accounts that I use on .com to sell stuff.

My listings has always been BIN and never used additional stuff to keep my listing fees to 0.

Now, since a couple of weeks or so, all my listings (no more than 10 or 12 per account), are charged with something like 0.40$ insertion fee… listings has not be edited or nothing.

What am I missing here? Is this something new eBay put in place?

Is there a workaround solution? I really want to keep my insertion fee to 0.

BTW, I also did try to change format (auction) and duration, nothing changes... same fee applied.

Did you accidentally click "Display a large photo in search results with Gallery Plus(fees may apply)" ? Just checking first...

They slip those extra charges in by default a lot of the time, agree with RSOT, check what they're actually for and then we'll be able to help you.

Absolutely not, I check my listings four times everything is just as it has always been.

is this something that could happen if I list too many items in a month?
If I list more than 100 items in a 30 days period?

I also try to make a new listing from scratch... same thing: insertion fee.

This can happen with eBay UK, not sure about .com though. eBay offer sellers promotions, i.e. first x amount of items they sell in a month, they get a specific promotion, sometimes listing without insertion fees. You should find the promotions listed under seller dashboard somewhere (old layout one). I feel you may have used up this months promotion.

It should reset in around 24 hours when the new month starts. Try again then.

Guessing Play's got it figured out. I thought so at first too, but then I thought "that's too obvious, he'd already know that" so I didn't say it. :)

LOL, I am not that eBay superexpert.

I use eBay with a bunch of stealth accounts and I can manage my stuff but that for me is some extra money at the end of the month.

Being a moderator of this forum doesn't makes me an eBay/PayPal/Amazon guru, that is what most members in here.
Not a big issue at all, I speak very frankly when they get in touch with me in PMs ;)
