eBay account compromised problem!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all doing good. I have a very big problem over here.
I have bunch of ebay accounts that are old since 2004. They have unlimited selling limits. These all accounts are through my friends and their relatives.

Now since March 2018, I have been using these accounts on Amazon AWS VPS remote desktops. Some of these are Canadians, US and UK.

When I started in March 2018, every thing was going good. Staring from my second account which was Canadian all of a sudden ebay sent a notice "Account Compromised please contact us". This happened on the Canadian account after 2 weeks. I got the account unblocked though and everything went fine. I noticed ebay fees also was reset when this happened. I exploited this method when the acc was Vero'd. So I saved fees. Now that acc was completely done after I made sales. I switched over to second account, this time there was no problem as such. I make a new Amazon. AWS instance Everytime I switch accs. So new IP and desktop. Now when I made few sales and the account for vero'd. I intentionally called ebay a d reported hack to save my fees. They reset the account but when I relisted the items, it got suspended.

OK now I switched to an American account, everything went fine untill one day ebay mentioned the same thing again, account compromised please contact us. I reinstated, but this time it never stopped! Every time I was getting the account reinstated, it reset and asked me to call ebay every other day. I was so pissed as ebay sends out the emails to the buyers that this account has been used fraudulently and advised the customers to raise a dispute. Then once I decided to call the ebay manager and explained this whole situation that happened. It never happened then.

Now when I switched to UK amazon aws instance, its not letting me to list even a si ngle freaking day! The UK ebay account that I using its owner is not very helpful. I asked to contact eBay and connect with their manager so this wont ever happen again. He dosent listen! He just gets the account back on and I keep going circles every time I list give item.

Can anyone please let me know what I can do?

As a safety precaution, whenever I use an ebay I do the following :
1. I never change the details or automatic billing through a new IP
2. Fresh PayPal are connected into the listings Everytime that has never been used on ebay before.
3. No account details I change, just list the item.

What am I doing wrong? Can anyone explain? 🙄

I didn't read all so correct me if I'm wrong, but it's likely due to the IP.

Too long of a post tushargta - it's hard on the eyes - simplify and space out - best of luck

Amazon vps's are not the best for running stealth accounts, besides that i would advice you to always move the browser cookies with you.

I would look at using a different IP

Yup I have changed to IP Burger lets see what could be the results.

I tested one more account that was from the USA. Real account. Was never logged in over the PC. The PC he logged in was newer one because eBay asked to send a one-time passcode.

I connected the same PayPal that was from a suspended eBay and another third party app that was connected to eBay before. None of that seemed to give a trouble! The listing appeared within a few hours in the search. In my case, when I operate the eBay through Amazon AWS. It takes 24 hrs.

I have realized Amazon AWS could be the bugger!

I have switched to IP Burger lest see what could be the results. BTW these accounts are REAL and not STEALTH. They are from real owners.

Re: eBay account compromised problem!

Still having the same problem, even tried IP Burger.

I am gonna try this method:

Keep the account logged into the owner's PC , through which he regularly use eBay on it. Connect inkfrog and make the listings, manage the orders and reply to the messages.

Does anyone have a better recommendation to this?

I am really sick of this disease "unauthorized access to your ebay account"

There is something you are doing similar on every account that is triggering the bots.

Perhaps the 'exploit' you are using is limited to just your accounts and they are all flagged.

Did you have some history, cookies using those accounts with those IPs? you need to build history first mate, before you list anything. Or you will be using a 'new' IP on those accounts. That's triggering their bots of an unauthorized access.

Well, what I a doing now is asking the eBay account holder to signup using inkfrog (inkfrog.com). A third party eBay listing software. Since the account holder itself is signing up. The authentication token is generated from the IP the account has been used upon. By this method, I am using the existing IP and not a new one.

So far, I have noticed, the accounts that are have not been used for long for either buying/selling are triggering this.

The accounts that have been recently used doesn't cause much of an issue.

Is it because these accounts are getting into a dormant stage and causing this to happen?

If I'm not mistaking it can be because of the IP, no?

Re: eBay account compromised problem!

It's definitely due to your activities / circumvention of fees. Ebay are not mugs.

Fairly sure they read these forums on a daily basis.

Re: eBay account compromised problem!

It is look like you sell software and the competition is to much there do you rally think that you have a problem with the ip and all kind of staff i will not saying more just change every one password on every one account and every time if that happen again change the password. Some one just hack your account bucose if you have a old account you can sell more keys it is simple as that and they don't make a big mess with the account bucose they know that eBay will find that and will ask you to change the password.

Trust me i know very well what i am saying good luck.
