Operating an USA account from Bulgaria
 

Hi guys,

I've been long looking in the forum for an answer to my question but it seems that I can't find it.

At the moment I'm located in Bulgaria and would like to operate in the USA from here.

However after I read the Stealth Guide I understood that I'd need a US bank account to link to PP.

Alright, this problem I decided to solve in this way:

-Use Stripe Atlas to create an LLC remotely

-Buy a US stealth business account.

-Link eBay account with EIN and PP with bank account

What is your opinion on that way?


Another problem that I faced is with shipping. I'd like to serve US customers as fast as possible, however I either need to do it with a friend that lives in the US who will send the packages. Or the other option I was thinking over is using a warehouse.

I've contacted some pick, pack and post services, but have no answer yet.

You can initially try selling your items from here on .com. You can check the market and how sales are going.

I'm really concerned with delivery time and feedback. If I send a package from Bulgaria to the States it will take a whole lot of time for the customer to receive.

Moreover I have to mention Item location. When I mention Bulgaria in Item Location I'm sure there will be a lot of potential customers that will go to another seller that delivers from the States.

Even if I mention Item location US, the package will be received slow and the customer will see that the pakcage comes from Bulgaria.

Another option is to use DHL or UPS but they are waay too expensive to deliver with

Sellers are operating from here without issues. Writing in the listings true shipping time and real item location. DHL and UPS are not an option for us, they are so expensive, as you said.

I am not familiar with US companies, customs, government taxes, etc. How will you import the goods in the USA and who will make the shipments. Other members here will help with that definitely.

It really depends on the items you want to sell and you can try both ways to do it.

It will be great if members help out.

Aguero I got your point and you are right. There should be somebody to receive the hauls. Otherwise the company will get busted, for example, importing counterfeit items.

It's best if there is somebody in the US that is willing to receive hauls and send packages and get a cut.


I will write in the Shipping Talk thread and seek for such people.


rsot Warehousing is great if business and products were all perfectly legal. Not in this case.

What about pick,pack and post? Can it be done with an individual, not necessary a company.

What do you mean by "members help out"? Tons of ppl help out all the time.

Every business US paypal account have option Travel Plan. So you can try this trick. Ask your business paypal account seller to put travel plan in settings. He must choose country and date. Must works fine)
In business account you must go: My Settings- Travel Plans. Then push Get Started button.
Where you going: Bulgaria
Leaving on: mm/dd/yyyy
Returning on: mm/dd/yyyy

You also need access to paypal phone number. First time when you logging from Bulgaria IP paypal will do security check. 99%

Travel plan also good because if you need to call paypal support they can easy check your travel plan settings. Your last IP was always USA and now Bulgaria IP according travel plan.
