Cannot add bank account to Paypal
 

I have a Paypal account registered in 2013 and have 90 transactions receiving money from eBay. Currently both my eBay and Paypal accounts are still running normal sales.

Today when I add a bank account (bank account in Vietnam) to Paypal, I get this message. All cookies are maintained from 2013 until now.

Bank account & Paypal is same country.

After a month I try to add a bank account but still receive the same message


What are the problems with Paypal? How to add a bank account to Paypal?

The paypal account is based in Vietnam? Is the bank account also based in the same country?

Are you trying to add a Vietnamese bank account to a Vietnamese PayPal?

do you change ip or use pp on different pc try to add other bank account

sorry to hear you are having issues to add your bank account to your PAYPAL.
Most probably they put some limitations on your account.
You will have to contact them (either by phone or email) to "unlock" your account.
Most probably you will then have to verify your accounts - meaning they will ask you to submit your documents.

Your account isn't limited. There have been several threads about this exact problem recently and I also ran into it myself a few weeks ago. Paypal has been making it almost impossible to add new bank accounts to older, established Paypals. Presumably because they see it as a security risk for those who have had their account compromised.

There's another thread here currently where the guy had the same problem. He said that he called Paypal, Paypal told him that he'd triggered security measures on his account by trying to add a new bank account, and that he would be able to add his bank account 24 hours after the phone call. He hasn't yet posted a follow up saying whether or not that actually worked.

Long story short - You may need to call Paypal in order to add your new bank account.

Maybe best in future to create some recent history on old accounts before trying to add the bank

Call PayPal to add bank account manually it’s a common issue it happens to all my new accounts I’m opening. Just call them and they will add it manually
