Does Epacket take so long to update?
 

I bought a item off off Dhgate on October 31st. The seller shipped the item the same day and was given a tracking number. The tracking number when i try to track it says invalid. Its been that way since the seller had shipped it. is it normal for an epacket tracking number to go nearly 2 weeks without a tracking update?

They are extremely slow. Sometimes sellers upload ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking the first time as well and then post real tracking when you push them for it

Its weird that they upload untrackable tracking numbers. I atleast should have gotten the real tracking number by now because something else I ordered 6 days later is on the way to my house.

epacket is usually trackable within 2 hours after buying the label/number

it can stay at the status "waiting for receive of parcel" at a long time, depends how fast the seller really ships it out.

but if the number is not even valid after that timeframe, go ask the seller as this is not normal.

the longest time i had to wait for an epacket number (worldwide) to become valid in their system after i got it from my supplier was under 24h, so your supplier is not really honest with you or it was a typo

edit.: could be you use the wrong website for tracking.. use 17track.net for international /asia tracking

hi OP,
if the tracking says 'invalid' then its a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking and the seller hasnt even shipped the package out yet.

if the tracking says 'package submitted to post office, en route to destination' or something of the sort, it means that the sellers have already shipped it out and the post office's slow shipping speed is causing the delay.
