please help ebay and paypal from defferent countries
 

hello
i have a french ebay which have 198 feedback and a great selling history
i would like to link it with a us verified paypal in order to receive my money in
i will open the us paypal with the same informations (name surname) expect adress
will this work ?

Why do you need a US Paypal account? You'll need a SSN for US Paypal and with with the latest policy updates i think its better to use a European Paypal. And as far as i know French eBay needs French Paypal

Use a European paypal, you don't want to use a US paypal.

unless he is an American expatriate and has a US bank account,else he should really use his French or EU bank account

My guess is that he's from France, using his personal pp account, his paypal was either permanently limited or reached the yearly threshold. His hands are itchy and he wants to get his Ebay account banned as well.

Does FRANCE has some threshold like US,say 1099k if 200 transactions and $20k?
He does not need a US Paypal account to sell on Ebay USA,plenty of overseas sellers from Canada,Singapore,UK .China,all sell on Ebay USA with their local Paypal account,the only issue is that on Ebay USA,you are paid in US $,SO Your local paypal account will state you accept US dollars and you want Paypal to convert it to your local currency or keep it as US dollars.
I DONT see this as an issue at all,when it come time to transfer to local bank account,Paypal will convert it to local currency and charge a conversion fee,above the xchange rate

if his French paypal account which he used to sell on Ebay France is limited,opening another Paypal account in USA and link to the same Ebay france account will get it limited as the two paypal accounts are linked by the same ebay account.
