Got Ebay case and negative PP account
 

Hi. some introduction.

I was working at job were my paypal account was linked to business ebay account, after i left that job i remove my paypal from ebay and added colleague PP account. After time one of my ebay buyers opened case, and my paypal balance end up negative cause all money on my last day we transferred to bank account (which isn’t mine but companies) basically to zero sum, left some chunk for ebay fees, this company bank account is still linked in on my Paypal.

For that account is active sepa direct debt mandate accepted.

As i don’t access to ebay account anymore, does paypal take directly the refund from that bank account if case will be lost on ebay?

My ex job are still fighting towards case try to win. But if they lost they can just forget about it and i end up with negative PP balance little bit more than 10k (it was big deal)

Any my personal cards and banks are unlinked from Paypal. Only what is left is my personal address and phone number.

i am bit frustrated, can any give explanation what can happen?
*basically to win that ebay case is almost unreal. Bad experience as seller to fighting towards cases on ebay.

why would any one link his/her paypal account to employer Ebay account?

Sepa direct debt mandaes can be charged back from your banks side.

thats not his question,his question is that his ex employer has a case open by its customer for $10,000 ,what happens if it loses the case ?
it is his Paypal account which accepted the $10k payment and the $10k has already been transferred to his ex employer bank account.
(This is what happens when you work for a small outfit which does not follow proper business practice,employee should not have to risk his own Paypal/Ebay/bank account,unless there is some arrangement OP is not telling us).
