German Private Ebay Account
 

Hey guys,
I'm having troubles with opening private accounts on ebay.de

I only see people posts about business accounts, but no one really talks about private accounts.
1. Are there the same requirements to open them?

I live in Germany and i can easily open bank accounts.
2. Do i still need to add a credit card to activate paypal account?

German phone number and proxy is not a problem,
but curious about the IDs...
3. Will Paypal.de ask me to provide them "my" ID if "my" bank account is added while im only operating a private Ebay.de account?

Im trying to operate few private accounts and i just want to do be well prepared for it.

Any help will be appreciated :)

Hi, welcome to the forum.
I am not expert for german accounts but I do not see the issue comparing to Italian accounts for example.
You need a VCC to confirm paypal account and I would add bank account further on when both eBay and PayPal are running smoothly and solid.

Paypal will ask ID for security purpose when you hit the € limit (1800€ or arount that).

Plenty of posts on "private" accounts tho'.

I see, so its probably a good idea to find some suitable VCC first.
Last time i bought one, my account was immiediately locked :s
I probably messed up something and it linked me with some other account.

gotta be more careful this time

Check the marketplace but be sure to get a € VCC... some sellers has Russian or far east countries VCCs which could give issues.

Don't you have MASTERCARD or VISA gift cards in germany? Those could work too.

To active your account, you can use credit card or IBAN to be linked .

Commercial DE accounts, EBAY will ask you to upload commercial registration papers. And you have to offer valid VAT number as well .

All EU PAYPAL accounts have to provide ID and address proof when hit 1800 EU receiving limits.
