top rated seller on ebay! Paypal suddenly closes my account
 

Hi there,

I have been an honest seller on ebay. And ebay recognized that. I was a top rated seller. This month I was on my way to being top rated again. According to ebay.

Out of the blues paypal limits my account. Tells me its just a verification process.

I had a feeling to check various forums and saw some people complaining that it was shut down. So I did not process any of the orders till it was resolved.

So about 2,000 usd later they try that nonsense saying I can't do business with them anymore.

My ebay is still in perfect tact. I had a sale even a few minutes before I received this message from paypal.

I am so mad. I did nothing to make them doubt me. My customers left great feedback. 100% positive feedback to be honest.


Now my question is. Do I give up on this ? I can cancel most the customers orders and refund them without letting paypal have it with them for 180 days.

But can I create a different account and connect that to this account?


What are my options. Please someone help me.

To be honest I use these funds to look after my family.

So any helpful suggestions and solutions would be much appreciated.

I feel extremely sad about this.

worked so hard on this.

I am trying to get in touch with them but their lines don't work.

Bunch of criminals if you asked me.

Hopefully when ebay does Ebay managed payments I'll be better off

but I need to get back in to this business ASAP.

Your PayPal account is gone forever. Time to spend your energy on creating additional accounts and always have backups.
PayPal didn't like what you sold, so hopefully you'll have a plan in place to offer different items for your future accounts.
Happy customers on Ebay dosen't mean squat if PayPal doesn't feel comfortable on what you sell.
Think of it this way, if you sold weed on Ebay (not possible, but using this as an example), your Ebay customers would love you, but PayPal would get rid of you fast.

You may have to just refund everyone unless you wait the 180 days. Just get abother established paypal account (buy one) and only put the payment paypal email in the listing and keep it moving

First of all thank you so much. Your replies have made me somewhat positive

I sell mobile phone accessories mainly. Some are genuine, like branded..

Okay so about the PayPal account. If I buy one how would I withdraw the funds?

Because I have mainly 1 visa international card that receives the funds from my current PayPal account (the one that was limited).

Is it okay for me to use that when I buy one? Also could someone recommend a good merchant to purchase a PayPal account?

There is no easy way to get back on. Every approach requires time and patience.

I would say create a new paypal account following stealth principals. Start slowly selling and build it up from there.

You will no doubt get limited again in the future due to the nature of your items ("some" are genuine items ... so you basically sell vero)

But there are ways around the limitations. Just keep reading threads on this forum ALL the information is here if you read inbetween the lines.

If I do open a new paypal what about my current sales level.

It's between 50-200 USD a day.

Monthly avg 2500-3500 usd

What virtual cards could I use? as in v i s a cards in order to withdraw funds.
