Any rule changes for creating new accounts?

I haven't created new accounts for months, which was always successful early last year, although they were all private accounts.

Recently I am going to create new accounts, with stealth information and real information, private (few) and commercial accounts (mainly), all failed.

There must be something wrong? Or it is not the right time (Nov. Dec. Jan..) to create new accounts?

or Ebay can read deeper information of your computer?

Help guys!!!!!!!!!

Just wondering for the commercial accounts (Dutch and German accounts), you have to add the bank accounts during setup. I didn't want to waste my IBAN , so I added some stealth IBANs and account always blocked hours later.

Managed Payments changed things up when it was introduced mid last year.
Things are far more complicated these days.

Re: Any rule changes for creating new accounts?

It sounds like eBay has gotten better at detecting new accounts. It's likely they've improved their methods for identifying suspicious activity, even if you're using stealth information.

Here are some possible reasons why your account creation is failing:

eBay's tracking: eBay might be able to gather more information about your computer or network than they could before. This could include things like your IP address, browser settings, or device fingerprint.

Timing: While the time of year could be a factor (eBay might be more vigilant during peak seasons), it's more likely related to changes in eBay's detection methods.

Account type: Commercial accounts are more likely to be scrutinized than private accounts, so focusing on those could be increasing your chances of being flagged.

Information consistency: Even with "stealth" information, inconsistencies or patterns might be triggering a red flag.

Account Creation Volume: Creating many new accounts quickly, even over months, can make you look suspicious.

Proxy/VPN Quality: If you are using proxies or VPNs to hide your IP address, their quality can be a factor. Poor quality proxies can easily be detected.
What you can do:

Research eBay's policies: Make sure you understand eBay's rules about creating and using multiple accounts.

Improve your "stealth": Ensure the information used on each account is unique and consistent, even seemingly small details.

Use high-quality proxies/VPNs: If you're using them, invest in reliable, private ones.
Change your device: Consider using a completely separate computer or virtual machine for creating new accounts to avoid device fingerprinting.

Warm up accounts slowly: If you do manage to create an account, don't do anything that could flag it as suspicious right away. Let it age and build a positive history.

Consider it may be very difficult right now: eBay is actively trying to prevent account creation for various reasons. It might just be much harder than it used to be.
