Selling on ebay.com with established ebay.co.uk account

As per title,

i have established UK ebay accounts, lots of sales, currently doing 5k/pm on the accounts,

i want to sell on ebay.com with these accounts,

do i need to build up the.com side of things and start slow again, or am i good to keep doing the 5k pm straight away?

and what about the other way, .com to .co.uk ?=}

Its a bit 50/50

You do need to build it up as your metrics will be for eBay.com on sales not .co.uk but usually you can build it up pretty fast

Just log into eBay.com and list there directly

Best to listen to James on this and go slowly on a new platform - build up, etc

just one sale on one of my 8 accounts so far.

just going to do 1 one each acc next month, following month maybe 2 on each, 3rd month maybe 2 on each also, then 3 the following month and just take it easy.

all my items are £200-1k price range so cant sell too many, and need to start some new stealth ebays as had another one banned for no reason after they requested i upgrade to business.

I remember actually when they rechecked my identity upon upgrading, i left the month and year fields for DOB as XX / XXXX

i never did figure out if the Xs are there for "privacy" or they want you to re add it.

thats the only discrepancy there could have been. As used the exact same ID as before etc. But it sure as hell is a stupid ass reason to ban someone for.

how frequent is this check? I assumed it would only be triggered if major changes occurred on the account

Difficult to predict with eb - your assumption feels right but i wonder if a "soft check" is done whenever money is sent out via MP, etc.

second account the exact same now. Both these accounts i was asked to upgrade to business

with this second one i didnt leave DOB as XX XXXX and put the actual one in.

used the exact same file for ID as when i initially had ID check a few years ago.

NI number they forced me to add was valid, but mismatched name. So maybe its that. Or just ebay being ebay

Re: Selling on ebay.com with established ebay.co.uk account

You likely need to build up your sales slowly on eBay.com, even with your established UK accounts. eBay.com treats accounts separately from eBay.co.uk.

For going from .com to .co.uk, the same principle applies. You'd likely need to start slowly and build trust on the .co.uk platform.
