Is MC169 an automated hit for Non-US/UK accounts now?
 

Hi everyone,
I opened like 10 accounts 6-7 months ago using the stealth guide and they all worked perfectly for 4-5 months (all of them were seller accounts with 20-40 feedbacks). After 5 months, when i tried to list a new item, some accounts suspended with MC169. Rest of them still working with active listings but i'm pretty sure they'll gone if i list a new item.
Also now i'm opening new backup accounts and try to list an item (at least 1 month old accounts, non-vero, no high-risk item with $1-3 auction). But they are all gone with MC169 in 1-2 hours after listing.
Is this MC169 an automated suspension to verify docs for non-US/UK accounts now? Or am i doing something wrong?

not just your country, but some types of accounts are hit more than others, depends on if you listed too quick or used vcc, is your IP coresponding to location you list.

never list an item before 1 month and my ip is corresponding to my location. but vcc? my visa credit card allows me to generate virtual cards which their first 8 digits always the same. maybe eb ay linked and blocked these virtual cards?

What credit card company do you use?

it's a local Turkish bank's visa card.

there is a specifc triger or set of triggers, first thought in my mind is always the vcc, after that it is what or how you list.

well, then i'm going to change my vcc and try again. maybe i buy from sellers in the forum. Will be updated. Thanks oompaloompa!

i am worried of this problem too... i have stealth 1-2 months old starting to list item slowly...i have been using prepaid credit card (mastercard) by woolsworth (biggest supermarket chain in aus) which is issued by a major bank ( ANZ bank). how does that compared to VCC?

bank ones are good, there are different types, the bank ones that will only do thu verifications with real address on file are best, next best are bank ones where you can change address or it does not need address, the worst of the bunch is anon vcc. the last 2 options though, you never know which cards are on their banned or flag list until you get a few limitations and you work this out, I am not saying this is issue with OP, I really cannot tell how account was set up or mistakes made, just going by small amount of info given, there may be more issues...

Bought a completely different vcc from a seller in this forum. and used it for ebay verification but the result is the same. got mc169 again after the first listing. it says:
"We're writing to let you know that you won't be able to use your eBay account until you contact us to verify some information. We realize this may be inconvenient, but we need to take extra precautions when we find unusual or questionable activities on an account."
What does it mean: "we find unusual or questionable activities" ? Does it point a specific reason?

...what were you selling or doing?

i tried to sell used book with starting price $2.99 auction.

Are there any users with new Turkish seller accounts running good with listings recently?
any experiences will be appreciated!
