Is it possible to have multiple paypal in India
 

Hi

I am a new user and I have also been suspended by ebay for violating their policies(they didnot mention which policy did I violate).Now I am trying to create a new paypal account and ebay account as mentioned in ebay stealth.But in my country we are required to enter our pan card number, it is I suppose is unique for everyone.So how would I enter different name and address as I have only one pan card number.

PAN is unique to India. Users in other countries do not have the need for a PAN.

I suppose you have a lot of relatives and they all have their unique PAN card number which is different from yours. You dont have to register your account under your name. Hope this helps.

Thank you for all the replies, the issue is resolved now, I was able to create new paypal by adding some random pan no.There is no checking.

PayPal have just suspended me after checking my PAN!

They do check them, takes about 2 months. Make sure you clear your account of funds daily because I have cash held now that I cant get out.

They are now taking only 2/3 days to verify the PAN and also checking multiple accounts with same PAN. My accounts were also suspended for same reason.

Also, it is now very difficult to obtain multiple PAN numbers. It was easy few years ago. Now they check everything carefully.

Have you been suspended by ebay or paypal?

If you were suspended only by ebay with no affect to your paypal account - try closing your paypal account and opening a new one.
