Ebay hold money for sales. (Not paypal)
 

Have acc at ebay.nl. Sold few items and got email from ebay that they got payment, and tell to send items. Its somethink new from ebay? When i can expect money?

Have no clue about this but sound very interesting, what was the email that you got, did the money hit pp account or no... waiting for others to chime in and give more info on that

PP is empty :( Message at ebay/mail was that they got money and tells to send items and then mark them as shipped. Done that, but still no money :/ Hope to get money when buyers leave feedback

EBay is testing a pilot project, a new payment method on its German and Austrian online marketplace,and seems now it on ebay.nl too. As part of its buyers pay the price for an item is no longer directly to the seller, but on Ebay. Ebay then forwards the sum to the seller.You'll receive your money only within 2 weeks,since you mark as despatched,but it can take up to a month! I have the same problem with ebay.de. The new method is applied to items which are set by newly registered sellers. How old is your eb ay account?

This acc is about 5 month old, but seller only for few weeks :D Yep you are right, my older acc's are getting money old way to paypal without any holds.

sounds like a scam to me
 

once i tried selling a ps3 the winner of the auction told me his was gonna send payment that evening. the next day there is no money in my paypal but i get an email from paypal telling me that i received payment. fowarded the email to ebay fraud and they confirmed. if some on sends payment to you even if there is a hold on the funds it would still show a deposit in paypal.

This is Indeed correct,, it is an OLD Scam, As for a New Program the Ebay is Testing outside the USA, I Have No Knowledge of that, It could very well be the cause here, Just DO NOT toss out the possiblity that it might indeed be a Scam

Nope its not scam. Ebay "sold" items shows that the payment received. But nothink @ paypal

Good, at least the Possibility of it being a Scam is now a NON-Issue.

It still Sucks that Ebay is holding your money, but at least you know it is not gone,,I would tend to contact Ebay about this issue.

I do not think that you will have a Problem,,you may not get a solution but I have to believe that at the very LEAST you will have an Explanation, as to what is going on with your money.

Every account made after september 2011 will have the same holds.You dispatch it and dpending on the item it will be released to your paypal or bank acc from ebay within 14-28 days.Or untill you get positive feedback.It allows buyers to pay via bank transfer etc direct to ebay, key is to post asap to get the feedback to release the payment.

Right, just found it on ebay.
Payout to paypal is:
7 days after marked as despached
28 days after ebay got money and not marked as despached.
To bank account it can take 3 more days.

Seems nothink very bad here. Need to check how its work in real. Hope no 180 days holds from ebay then 180 from paypal :D

7 days only sometimes if you sit there waiting for payment and post it that second ive never had a payout in 7 days wihtout feedback, thats on 100s of accs !
