paypal hold funds for 21 days ?
 

hi every one ,

right now i have verified france paypal which is linked with ebay . Now every time i received payment from usa buyer my funds hold for 21 days but if i received payment from any other country buyer my funds does not get hold . Any one getting same problem ?

Maybe the international transaction tripped the wire on your account. I havent seen this though - just holds on all transactions

With US accounts as soon as the tracking info says delivered funds are released usually 2-3 days after. If u don't upload tracking u will wait 21 days

Strange to have selective holding like that. Not seen it myself.

If you post with tracking info you funds will be released a few days after buyer receives their item.

i am selling digital stuff so i have no tracking number to get my funds early

Just have to wait then generally.

PP advertise that if you get a + feedback, money will be released, this is not the case in the UK though (unless you phone PP)

already got a positive feedback from the buyer but still my funds are hold

This problem is only with usa buyers

@jamesnorth yea I have US accounts and never get funds released early even with the positive feedback. It will still take 3 days after delivered, many times this happened over different accounts where the same day delivered received the positive but still needed to wait the 2-3 days, no big deal but I always hear about that and never get the funds automatically released that way maybe it's not on US accounts either

It does release though automatically after 2-3 days of showing delivered.

@faisalaif what you can do next time so that you get the funds released quicker is send a thank you letter in the mail and upload that tracking number, once it arrives you will get delivered status and funds released within 2-3 days. Plus ebay likes when they see tracking numbers as already stated many times digital goods often cause problems

That could explain part of it - digital items are always a bit high on pp's radar...keep quiet and just work to get customer satisfaction - dont rock the boat

it is best to wait in this case, rather than risk your account.
