Practical info from the Italian community?
 

I would like to go for a PP and EB stealth here in Italy but I may need some advice from someone hwo is using Italian Prepaid Cards, bank accounts phone numbers and all the other stuff.
I think it could be helpful for everyone willing to sell from an Italian account.

List what you think is going to work for using ebay italy.

You have to know what to do rather than just be told.

I figured out that Mastercard has an anonimous prepaid card in Italy I do not know if it is available in any other country: CartaSi Club

also out postal service issues a so called newgift card that is anonimous and prepaid

I do not know if any of those works for paypal verification
for the phone (mobile) I think that any card of any company with a brand new number on it will work

there is also a nice pay and pickup service in my town that is managed from the local stores or pubs/bar called indabox useful for ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address it is a proper address but not a poBox and it can be used for returning goods.

The indabox could be usable but you would need to set it up so it looks like its own suite.

That card - probably registerable to the address so worth a try.

Sometimes you do have to experiment a little - maybe contact some European sellers on this forum and see if they have any recommendations too.

The sellers will not be forthcoming with info if there is no purchase on the table.

Please avoid this suggestion as it frustrates everyone. Not practical advice even if well meant.

so, I am probably going to try the prepaid card from italian postal service and see if it is going to work for Paypal verification... as far as I understood you are interested in the results, right?
Is there anything more you want me to investigate in the italian environment?

That is good you will test it out ilcarletto - I haven't seen a lot of experience in the Italian platforms.

Not as yet - I actually want you to get your accounts working :) I am hoping it works well. Make sure to see if you can register the prepaid card to a specific address you are using for PP
