German eBay stealth account

Hi,

I just opened a new stealth account in Germany (I also live here). Now my question is to not be detected ip wise, what to use? I heard tor is not a very good solution. Any ppl from Germany out there? What do you guys use for a different ip adress?

You do not need to avoid having your IP detected, you just need a new unlinked IP.

Look at phone tethering and dongles. You may also be able to change your home IP address if you have a static IP

Hello Jay,

I'm from Germany, too.

If you go online via DSL, put the router on/off and check your IP via www.wieistmeineip.de

If you go online via static IP (Kabel Deutschland for example), use VPS or local hotspots (Mc Donald's, Starbucks...)

i'm from Germany too i use unregistered umts usb mobile modems to change ip. it's very safe and easy to use. you can use a smartphone too but don't forget to check your ip and log your ip's in a list

Right, you don't want to 'HIDE' your IP address, eBay/PayPal doesn't like when you try to do this. Simply change your local IP address or use a different ISP and you will be good to go.

And based on this question, it seems you don't fully understand all the steps to create a stealth account, I suggest reading eBay Stealth.

P.S. Maybe we need a German section if there are more German users..

Yes, this seems to buy the Royal Road. UMTS sticks and cards are available for around 10 €. You will usually receive another IP with every re-login.

I am different opinion. I've opened dozens of eBay account on Burger King's parking space and opening about three accounts per person, day and space. These accounts are still alive. Each branch has its own IP.

P.S. Maybe we need a German section if there are more German users..

Yes, a German section would be very helpful hence it is a little bit funny to discuss on English with other German eBay members ;-)

eBay Germany is afaik the second largest eBay market place worldwide?

The fact that you succeded doing so doesn't mean it is a safe procedure.
I personally think it is very risky and, new forum members that reads this thread, shall not be confused... this is potentially risky.

German section is welcome but, in my opinion, everything in the forum shall be discussed in english for the benefit of all the members.
I would not like the situation where germans write in germans, chinese and everybody else in their own language...

Tough to have moderating for every section then...and some sections would be a bit dead for lack of users

My name is Malaz
My problem started in last year in Dec 06, 2015| when I was looking for laptop, because I was new here in Germany .
I came from Syria because the war .
my education is IT so I was need laptop very much, it was first time I using eBay ever , even I didn't have PayPal account .
So I ask my friend to help me to buy for me from his eBay account and all what I did is looking for fit laptop, so I listed some items and , because I'm here in Germany so I was looking for by German language using mobile and everything was in German language , so I didn't understand anything and all my focus was on photos of items and list it .
next day I show my friend the list
and he told me you have problem you bought many item I was shocked so much , so immediately told my friend if we can cancel this purchase.
so he write to the sellers to solve this inadvertently mistake and they answers ok no problem .
then I received message from eBay it was said :
" Your account has been suspended
-0's account is now blocked.

According to our records, your account has violated our site policies.
We've sent a note to @gmail.com informing you of this decision.

Sorry but your most likely not going to get this account back, you can try and call them until someone tries to help you, that's all you can do.
